Bridge of Don gives fast access to Aberdeen harbour for boat-based crew changes and the A90 north for Peterhead-based work. Plenty of family-sized houses suit long rotations.

Kingswells and the West End suit engineering and management-level offshore staff who need a corporate-standard apartment close to Prime Four business park and the AWPR (Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route).

Cove Bay and Portlethen work for crews rotating via the A90 south to Montrose or Dundee, and for workers based at Altens industrial estate.
City centre — only when you need to walk to the office
The city centre is best avoided for pure offshore stays — parking is limited and the drive to ABZ can hit 25 minutes at rush hour. It's the right answer only when the assignment also requires a daily walk to a client HQ in the corporate core.
