Contractor Accommodation in the Scottish Highlands
Highland projects rarely sit near a town with spare hotel rooms. Transmission upgrades, hydro schemes, onshore wind farms and road contracts all put crews in places where accommodation is the hardest part of the mobilisation. We source whole houses and lodges within a workable commute of the site.
Because Highland stock is seasonal and thin, early notice matters more here than anywhere else in Scotland. Give us the site postcode and programme dates and we will map what is realistically available and how far out the crew would travel.
Typical Highlands rates
£35–£58 per head, per night — bills, Wi-Fi and cleaning included, with the rate fixed for the length of the booking.
Why crews base here
Whole houses where hotels don't exist
In villages with no hotel stock we book self-catering houses and lodges, so crews still get beds within commuting distance.
Drying rooms and hot food
Outdoor Highland work means wet gear daily. Kitchens, washers and drying space keep crews productive and off site allowances.
Seasonal availability handled early
Summer tourism absorbs Highland stock. We hold options ahead of the programme rather than scrambling at mobilisation.

Smoking is outside only. A deep-clean charge applies where indoor smoking is evidenced.

These are working properties in residential streets — quiet hours run 22:00 to 07:00.
